QA Automation Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of IT/software projects from planning through successful completion.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Create and maintain project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and delivery tracking.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, clients, product teams, and engineering teams to ensure requirements and expectations are aligned.
• Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Track project progress, team capacity, dependencies, risks, issues, and overall delivery status.
• Identify potential risks and bottlenecks early and drive appropriate mitigation and resolution plans.
• Manage scope changes and ensure impact on timelines, resources, and deliverables is clearly communicated.
• Monitor team performance, sprint velocity, and delivery commitments to ensure projects remain on track.
• Maintain project documentation, status reports, action items, and project metrics using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders and provide regular project updates.
• Coordinate across multiple technical teams and workstreams to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
• Resolve project-level conflicts and dependencies by collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure projects follow defined processes, quality standards, and SDLC practices.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve project delivery, team productivity, and processes.
• Work effectively with geographically distributed and cross-functional teams in an enterprise IT environment.
