QA Automation Engineer / SDET (Python / TypeScript)

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer / SDET to own the automated testing strategy across our enterprise platforms, including workflow systems, case management, integrations, user consoles, entitlements, reporting, and APIs.

This is an engineering-focused role, not manual testing. The ideal candidate will write and maintain automation frameworks, ensure CI/CD quality gates remain reliable, and eliminate flakiness by fixing root causes rather than applying workarounds.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Python/TypeScript.
• Build API, E2E, integration, and contract test suites.
• Implement CI/CD-based test automation and merge-gate quality checks.
• Optimize test execution through parallelization and pipeline improvements.
• Perform performance, load, resilience, and failover testing.
• Manage test data masking, synthesis, and compliance requirements.
• Reduce test flakiness and improve automation reliability.
• Validate data migrations, backfills, and database changes.
• Deliver release verification and regression testing reports.
• Support cloud-native, Kubernetes-based application testing.
• Integrate accessibility and quality engineering practices into CI/CD.
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure scalable and high-quality software delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Financial Services, Banking, FinTech, or Payments
• Exposure to Regulatory and Compliance-driven environments
• Experience with Chaos Engineering Practices
• Strong understanding of distributed systems
• Experience testing AI-enabled platforms and agent-generated code.
