QA Automation Engineer - Mobile & Web Testing | Bengaluru

- 5-day working week, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

About the role:

We are hiring an automation test engineer for mobile application testing, with web application testing also in scope. Candidates from either a mobile automation or a web automation background are welcome to apply. API testing experience is mandatory for this role.

Mandatory requirements:

- 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.

- Hands-on API testing experience. This is a must-have and will be assessed.

- Strong scripting ability in JavaScript or TypeScript (either one is fine).

- Experience in mobile application testing and / or web application testing using automation frameworks.

Good to have:

- Ability to design, write and debug automation scripts independently.

- Good understanding of test case design, defect reporting and the QA lifecycle.

- Exposure to tools such as Appium, Selenium, Postman or REST Assured.

Selection process:

1. Internal technical interview with our team.

2. A technical assignment - you will need to be comfortable writing code in JavaScript or TypeScript to complete it.

3. Final interview with the client.
