QA Automation Engineer (Java/Python)

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated UI, API, and backend tests.
• Develop reusable automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams.
• Participate in test planning, execution, and release validation.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Use Splunk and other observability tools.
• Employ AI-assisted tools to improve productivity.
• Contribute to QA process improvements.
• Own QA automation deliverables for assigned features.
• Mentor less experienced team members.

Requirements

Must-have

• 4-7 years of Quality Engineering/Test Automation experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience with Cucumber, REST Assured or equivalent.
• Load and performance testing experience.
• Mock testing experience.
• Proficiency in Java or Python programming.
• Experience with APIs, cloud platforms, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-have

• Playwright, Cypress, JavaScript experience.
• SaaS testing experience.
• Performance or reliability testing exposure.
• Knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog.
• Exposure to AI/ML-enabled applications.
