Job Overview

We are looking for a Python Developer with 2 to 4 years of experience specializing in FastAPI to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain high-performance APIs, manage database integrations, and implement scalable backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, testable, and reusable Python applications using FastAPI.
• Develop high-performance RESTful APIs using async/await patterns, Pydantic validation, and dependency injection.
• Integrate SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases using ORMs like SQLAlchemy or SQLModel.
• Optimize backend applications for maximum speed, scalability, and resource usage.
• Package services using Docker and collaborate on CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 24 years of commercial backend development experience using Python
• Core Framework: 12+ years of hands-on experience with FastAPI.
• Databases: Practical knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and writing raw SQL or working with ORMs (SQLAlchemy)
• Hands-on experience with core AWS services
• Cloud & Hosting: Experience deploying FastAPI apps on AWS
• Familiarity with Alembic for database migrations.
• Basic understanding of vector databases, LLM integration, or AI/ML pipelines.
