Core Technical Requirements

For this 8+ years Senior Developer role, the candidate must have strong hands-on experience in:

• Python Strong development experience with Python 3.x and experience building scalable backend applications and REST APIs.
• AWS Lambda Hands-on experience developing and deploying serverless applications/functions.
• AWS API Gateway Experience developing, exposing, securing, and managing REST APIs.
• AWS S3 Experience working with object/file storage and integrating S3 with Python-based applications.
• AWS RDS and/or DynamoDB Hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and integrating them with cloud applications.

Strongly Preferred AWS Skills

Experience with the following AWS services and technologies will be highly desirable:

• AWS CloudWatch Application monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting.
• AWS CloudFormation Infrastructure provisioning and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• AWS EC2 Application deployment and management.
• Additional AWS services such as SQS, SNS, EventBridge, IAM, and Secrets Manager will be an advantage.

Expected Experience

The candidate should be able to independently:

• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and develop Python-based backend services and APIs.
• Build and integrate cloud-native/serverless solutions using AWS.
• Develop unit and integration tests.
• Perform code reviews and maintain coding standards.
• Troubleshoot application and cloud-related issues.
• Work collaboratively with QA, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other developers.
• Take ownership of assigned stories from requirement clarification through development, testing, and deployment.
• Work effectively within a Scrum/Agile development team.
