Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain large-scale data processing pipelines using PySpark on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop high-quality code in Python using Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib libraries for data manipulation and visualization.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of the system by implementing efficient algorithms and optimizing database queries.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 6-8 years of experience in software development with expertise in Big Data technologies such as Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS), Spark Core & Hive.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts including GCP services like Storage Bucket, Pub/Sub Messaging System etc. .
- Proficiency in writing clean, modularized code using best practices for readability and maintainability.
