Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a Python Gen AI Engineer to automate infrastructure certification, plant management, and lab-based testing. The role will use Python, Ansible, APIs, and networking expertise to deliver reliable infrastructure-on-demand solutions and improve hardware and software certification processes.

Software Requirements

Required

• Python and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• Shell scripting and Linux command-line tools.
• REST API development and integration.
• F5 LTM/GTM, TMSH, iControl, and iRules.
• Git or equivalent version control.
• Automated testing and deployment tools.

Overall Responsibilities

• Develop Python and Ansible automation for infrastructure installation, configuration, certification, and management.
• Extend and integrate APIs to support infrastructure-on-demand services.
• Automate lab-based testing for new hardware and software.
• Configure and integrate load balancers, network services, DNS, and DHCP.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and design practical solutions.
• Investigate automation failures and infrastructure issues.
• Improve testing coverage, deployment consistency, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Apply AI-assisted methods where they provide measurable value and meet security requirements.

• Experience with F5 LTM/GTM configuration and APIs.
• Experience with distributed web applications and supporting infrastructure.
• Experience with lab testing, infrastructure certification, or network automation is preferred.
• Equivalent experience in network engineering, systems administration, DevOps, or platform engineering may be considered.
  
  

Day-to-Day Activities

• Develop and maintain Python and Ansible automation.
• Configure load balancers, network devices, DNS, DHCP, and supporting services.
• Extend APIs and test infrastructure-on-demand workflows.
• Execute and automate lab-based certification tests.
• Review logs, configurations, test results, and system behavior.
• Participate in requirements meetings, technical reviews, planning, and stakeholder discussions.
• Document solutions, test results, and operating procedures.
• Recommend automation and infrastructure improvements.
• Escalate risks affecting security, availability, reliability, or delivery timelines.
  
  

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Certifications in networking, automation, Linux, cloud, or load-balancing technologies are preferred.
• Complete Synechron training on security, data protection, automation standards, and operational procedures.
• Maintain current knowledge of Python, Ansible, networking, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and responsible AI use.
