- An observability mindset: distributed tracing, meaningful dashboards, and practical on-call habits that lead to quick detection and recovery.
- A testing discipline that includes unit tests, integration tests, fixture design, and contract tests between services.
- Dev workflow: Git, code reviews, Docker, CI/CD basics.
- Comfort with cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and monitoring stacks such as Grafana and Prometheus.
