Python Engineer with Spring Boot & GCP

Role Summary

We are looking for a strong Backend Engineer with hands-on development experience in Spring Boot, Python, and GCP. The candidate should have expertise in building scalable backend services, APIs, and data integrations using PostgreSQL and BigQuery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Spring Boot and Python.
• Build and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and backend services.
• Develop, deploy, and support applications on GCP.
• Work with PostgreSQL and BigQuery for application and data requirements.
• Build integrations between applications, databases, APIs, and cloud services.
• Troubleshoot application issues and optimize backend performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for solution design and delivery.

Mandatory Skills

• Spring Boot / Java: Strong hands-on experience developing enterprise backend applications, REST APIs, microservices, and service integrations using Spring Boot.
• Python: Strong development experience with Python for backend services, APIs, automation, and data processing/integration.
• GCP: Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications/services on Google Cloud Platform, preferably using relevant compute, storage, data, and application services.
• PostgreSQL: Strong experience with SQL, relational database design, complex queries, data handling, and performance optimization.
• BigQuery: Hands-on experience working with BigQuery, including SQL queries, datasets, and integration with backend/data applications.
• APIs & Microservices: Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, JSON, API integrations, exception handling, and service-to-service communication.
• Data Integration: Experience integrating applications, databases, APIs, and cloud/data services, with good understanding of data flow and transformation.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Profile

• 6 to 10 years of software/backend development experience.
• Strong hands-on exposure to Spring Boot + Python + GCP.
• Good understanding of scalable application architecture and backend engineering practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Locations: Bangalore / Hyderabad / Pune / Chennai / Vadodara

Shift: 2 PM to 11 PM IST

Work Mode: Hybrid

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners or serving notice period less than 30 days
