Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer to join our team and play a key role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing in-house tools and applications that support research and operational workflows. The ideal candidate should have strong programming fundamentals, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for building efficient, scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Working on the core team’s Python project to support research and automation.
• Using programming languages, such as Python, Shell/Bash to architect and implement software and productivity tools
• Developing, testing and documenting existing in-house tools to improve their quality, reliability and supportability
• Automating existing support workflows to reduce operational burden and design new tools to improve efficiency
• Develop scripts and applications to address business requirements and optimize operations
• Ensure the health, performance, reliability, and scalability of tools, databases, and workflows you develop
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science from a top-tier college or university
• 1 to 6 years of relevant experience in Python, MySQL database and Linux
• Brilliant problem-solving abilities. The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and willingness to quickly learn new tools, languages, paradigms, and skills wherever necessary to get the job done.
• The drive to take initiative and pro-actively identify opportunities for efficiency and automation
