Python Developer

>We are looking for a Python Developer to design, build, and maintain the backend systems and automation that power our products and internal operations. You will work closely with product, operations, and data teams to turn requirements into reliable, scalable software. Experience building AI-enabled features and integrations is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services and APIs using Python.
• Build and maintain REST APIs using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Write clean, reusable, well-documented, and testable code.
• Integrate third-party services and tools (CRM, payment gateways, messaging platforms, LLM/AI APIs).
• Design and optimise database schemas and queries (PostgreSQL / MySQL; MongoDB is a plus).
• Build automation scripts and data pipelines to reduce manual work for operations and sales teams.
• Develop and support AI-related features such as chatbots, lead-scoring, or workflow automation using LLM APIs.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, and improve performance and security.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Maintain technical documentation for systems, APIs, and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Python development [adjust as needed].
• Strong knowledge of at least one Python framework: Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Solid understanding of REST API design, authentication, and JSON/webhooks.
• Good command of relational databases and SQL; familiarity with ORMs.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
• Basic knowledge of testing frameworks (pytest / unittest).
• Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Good to Have

• Experience with LLM / AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), prompt design, or RAG-based applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) and deployment tools (Docker, CI/CD).
• Experience with task queues and caching (Celery, Redis).
• Knowledge of data libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Basic frontend understanding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate with UI developers.
• Prior experience in EdTech or CRM / lead-management systems.
