Python Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Work with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Design efficient and scalable solutions following clean code and software design principles.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases and optimize queries and database operations.
• Integrate third-party APIs, services, and enterprise applications.
• Develop asynchronous and event-driven applications where required.
• Implement unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to technical design discussions.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support when required.

   Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in Python.
• Strong experience with Django / Flask / FastAPI.
• Excellent knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and backend development.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, data structures, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Good knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, or similar.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong understanding of application performance, scalability, security, and debugging.
• Experience working with Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

   Good to Have

• Experience with Kafka or other messaging/event-streaming platforms.
• Knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP cloud-native services.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Exposure to GenAI/LLM, AI/ML, or Python-based AI applications.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as PyTest.
• Knowledge of system design and distributed architectures.
