Python Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain existing Purchase Order (PO) migration scripts to improve functionality, performance, and data quality.
• Design, develop, and implement new Contract migration scripts using Python and related technologies.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading activities to support migration requirements.
• Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Support migration testing activities, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Analyze data issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate resolutions in collaboration with functional and technical teams.
• Prepare migration reports, validation summaries, and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and project teams to ensure successful migration execution.
• Provide post-migration support and assist in resolving data-related defects and queries.
• Contribute to functional testing, data analysis, project coordination, and other project-related activities as development activities are completed or during UAT phases.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in Python development and data analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Python scripting, data manipulation, and automation.
• Experience working with relational databases and writing complex SQL queries.
• Hands-on experience in large-scale data migration, conversion, or integration projects.
• Strong understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and testing methodologies.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and defect resolution activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing project priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Coupa or other Procure-to-Pay (P2P) platforms.
• Familiarity with procurement, purchasing, contracts, and supplier master data processes.
• Experience with ETL tools, data migration frameworks, or cloud-based data platforms.
• Exposure to Agile project delivery methodologies.
