Python Developer Lead

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in Django and hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Machine Learning (ML). The candidate will be responsible for developing scalable backend applications, REST APIs, and AI-enabled solutions for enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Python and Django.
• Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework.
• Design and integrate AI/ML capabilities into applications.
• Work with AI/ML models, data processing, and model integration.
• Develop and maintain database integrations using relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Integrate backend applications with third-party services and APIs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Write clean, reusable, testable, and maintainable Python code.
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and solution design.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
• Follow Agile development methodologies and engineering best practices.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Python
• Strong experience with Django / Django REST Framework (DRF)
• Hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
• Experience developing REST APIs / Web Services
• Good understanding of Python libraries and frameworks
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or equivalent
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

• Experience with Generative AI / GenAI
• Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Experience with NLP
• Exposure to LangChain, OpenAI APIs, or similar AI frameworks
• Knowledge of FastAPI / Flask
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Exposure to microservices architecture
