About this role
We are looking for a Python Developer to build and support applications used in Risk Management and PL reporting.
The ideal candidate should have strong Python development experience, excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business and technology teams.
Required Skills
- 5-8 years of hands-on Python development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Python, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and REST API development.
- Good understanding of Risk and PL calculations, including exposure to Pricing, Valuation, VaR, PL Attribution, or related risk analytics.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technology teams and business stakeholders.
- Quick learner, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
