Responsibilities

• Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices in Python
• Integrate with databases, queues and third-party APIs
• Write automated tests and maintain code quality
• Optimise performance and reliability
• Collaborate with front-end, data and AI engineers

Requirements

• 3-6 years of backend development experience in Python
• Experience with FastAPI, Django or Flask
• Strong SQL and database design
• Experience with Docker and cloud deployment

Nice to Have

• Async programming
• Message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS)
• LLM integration experience
