Python Backend Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Developer with 3-4 years of experience in developing scalable backend applications and REST APIs. The candidate should have hands-on experience with Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and third-party API integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Python and Django.
• Build REST APIs using Django REST Framework, Flask, and/or FastAPI.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases and SQL queries.
• Work with Django ORM, models, relationships, and migrations.
• Integrate third-party services such as payment, WhatsApp, SMS, and email APIs.
• Implement authentication, validation, error handling, and API security.
• Debug issues and optimize application performance.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and other team members.

Experience & Skills

• 3-4 years of experience in Python backend development.
• Strong knowledge of Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
• Good understanding of Flask and/or FastAPI.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL, and Django ORM.
• Experience in REST API development and third-party integrations.
• Understanding of authentication, JSON, HTTP methods, and API security.
• Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
