Position: Python Test Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium WebDriver.
• Create and execute automation test frameworks for web applications.
• Analyze business and functional requirements to develop test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.
• Automate repetitive manual test cases to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Identify, track, and report software defects using defect management tools.
• Execute test suites and analyze test results.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Develop data-driven and keyword-driven automation frameworks.
• Create reusable automation components and utilities.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to resolve issues.
• Validate application functionality across different browsers and environments.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and Python libraries.
• Debug and troubleshoot automation script failures.
• Maintain test documentation, test reports, and automation metrics.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint activities.
• Ensure software quality and adherence to testing standards.
• Support production validation and release testing activities.
• Optimize automation frameworks for stability, scalability, and maintainability.
