Job Title: Python API Testing Engineer - Robot Framework
Experience: 6-12 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Python API Testing Engineer with strong expertise in Robot Framework to design, develop, and execute automated test solutions for API and web-based applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Python scripting, API automation, test framework development, and CI/CD integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Robot Framework.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, or Robot Framework libraries.
• Validate RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend integrations.
• Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
• Create reusable automation frameworks and utilities.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to quality engineering practices.
• Prepare test reports and ensure timely delivery of testing milestones.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Python Programming.
• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework.
• Expertise in API Testing (REST/SOAP).
• Experience with Postman, Swagger, or equivalent API testing tools.
• Knowledge of JSON, XML, and SQL.
• Experience with Git/GitHub version control.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.
