Python Automation Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Python.
• Design, execute, and maintain automated test frameworks for web and API applications.
• Perform API testing and validation using tools such as Postman and Python libraries.
• Execute functional, regression, and integration testing activities.
• Support basic performance testing activities using tools like JMeter and analyze test results.
• Identify, track, and report defects while working closely with development teams.
• Participate in CI/CD integration and test automation execution.
• Prepare test reports and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 3 to 6 years of experience in Python Automation Testing.
• Strong knowledge of Python, PyTest/Robot Framework, Selenium, and API Automation.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, and SQL.
• Exposure to Performance Testing using JMeter or similar tools.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
