Python Automation Engineer

Position: Python Automation Test Engineer

Mandatory Skill: Python and Selenium WebDriver

Experience: 2 to 5 years

Location: Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium WebDriver.
• Design and enhance automation frameworks such as Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven, and Hybrid Frameworks.
• Automate functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end test scenarios.
• Analyze business requirements and create automation test cases.
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Perform web UI testing across multiple browsers and platforms.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Execute automated tests and analyze test results.
• Develop reusable libraries, utilities, and test components.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams to resolve defects.
• Perform API testing using Postman or Python Requests libraries.
• Validate backend data using SQL queries.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Prepare test reports and quality metrics.
