Job Description - Python Developer (API Development)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with strong experience in API development and integration to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have expertise in building scalable backend applications, developing RESTful APIs, and working with modern Python frameworks. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external systems.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and security.
• Develop reusable code and maintain coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

Primary Skills

• Strong experience in Python
• Hands-on experience with API Development & Integration
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs
• Expertise in frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Good understanding of Microservices Architecture
• Strong knowledge of JSON, XML, and API Security
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub/GitLab

Secondary Skills (Preferred)

• Experience with AWS Cloud Services
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
