Purchease Engineer -S

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Source raw materials, engineering components, spare parts, consumables, and other required materials.
• Float RFQs, compare quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize commercial terms.
• Prepare and release Purchase Orders as per approved requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery and resolve delivery-related issues.
• Ensure purchased materials meet required quality specifications.
• Coordinate with Quality and Stores teams for material inspection and receipt.
• Maintain purchase records, supplier documentation, quotations, and purchase orders.
• Monitor material costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Track pending orders, lead times, shortages, and critical materials.
• Develop alternate suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply.
• Handle supplier performance evaluation and vendor development activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments for purchase requirements and priorities.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
