Job Description – Purchase Executive

Experience: 3–5 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive to handle material procurement, vendor development, rate negotiation, budget control, and purchase documentation, ensuring timely delivery of quality materials at project sites within the approved budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle material requirements from project sites and ensure timely procurement and delivery.
• Identify new vendors, evaluate suppliers, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Negotiate material rates, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) and ensure quality control.
• Monitor procurement costs and ensure budget compliance.
• Prepare GRN entries, verify material inward records, and check vendor and labour bills.
• Ensure timely submission of vendor invoices for payment processing.
• Prepare and review weekly and monthly purchase reports.
• Coordinate with site, stores, inventory, and accounts teams.
• Maintain purchase records using ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve procurement processes.

Qualifications:

Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, or a relevant field, with 3-5years of experience in purchase and procurement management.
