Purchase Support Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Support Executive to support procurement activities for an automotive technical center. The candidate will be responsible for vendor coordination, purchase order processing, SAP transactions, commercial negotiations, and ensuring timely procurement of materials and services required for engineering and development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) in SAP.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement requirements.
• Identify and develop suppliers for engineering components, tools, services, and consumables.
• Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, payment terms, and commercial conditions with suppliers.
• Maintain supplier records and procurement documentation.
• Track order status and ensure on-time delivery of materials and services.
• Resolve supplier-related issues concerning quality, delivery, and invoicing.
• Support cost reduction initiatives, and sourcing activities.
• Generate procurement reports and MIS using SAP and Excel.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Good working knowledge of SAP MM module or procurement-related SAP transactions.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Good understanding of procurement processes and supply chain concepts.
• Knowledge in Electronics and Mechanical Components
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced engineering environment.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
