Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing

• Manage procurement of bought-out components, assemblies, and equipment from approved suppliers.
• Execute RFQs (Request for Quotations), bid analysis, commercial negotiations, and purchase order placement.
• Identify and develop new suppliers to improve cost competitiveness and supply reliability.
• Support localization and supplier development initiatives.

Supplier Relationship Management

• Build and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance through KPIs such as:
• On-Time Delivery (OTD)
• Quality performance (PPM/Rejection Rate)
• Cost competitiveness
• Responsiveness
• Conduct supplier reviews and participate in supplier audits.

Cost Management

• Drive cost reduction initiatives through value engineering and strategic sourcing.
• Analyze market trends, raw material movements, and supplier cost structures.
• Support annual budgeting and cost-saving targets.

Supply Chain & Inventory Management

• Ensure material availability to meet production schedules and project timelines.
• Collaborate with planning, manufacturing, engineering, and logistics teams.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize working capital.
• Manage expediting activities for critical deliveries.

Contract & Compliance Management

• Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and service agreements.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, ethical sourcing standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support ESG and sustainability initiatives within the supply base.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with:
• Engineering for technical clarifications
• Quality for supplier quality issues
• Production planning for material requirements
• Finance for payment and cost control activities
• Participate in new product development and sourcing project
