Job Summary


Responsibilities

• Purchasing Order Management: Manage the procurement of pharmaceutical products based on forecasts and inventory needs.
• Purchasing Order Management: Place and track orders, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.
• Purchasing Order Management: Approve purchase requisitions from departments.
• Supplier Relations: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure favourable terms.
• Supplier Relations: Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and address supplier issues.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and initiate orders to avoid shortages/excess.
• Inventory Management: Work with inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels and expiration management.
• Compliance Regulatory Adherence: Ensure purchased products comply with GMP, FDA, and other regulations.

• Market Research Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and new developments.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with sales, marketing, and logistics to ensure timely product availability.

Skills

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Excel.

Experience

• Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry (preferred): Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is highly advantageous.
• Procurement Experience: At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in procurement, with experience in negotiating contracts, managing vendors, and handling procurement.
