Purchase Officer

Job Role: Purchase Officer ( Pharma experience only )

Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.

Experience: 35 Years , Industry: Pharmaceutical / Manufacturing

Location: Muscat , Oman

1. Raise and process purchase requests and purchase orders based on approved requirements.

2. Source and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, packaging materials, chemicals, consumables, engineering items, and other materials.

3. Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.

4. Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve delays or supply issues.

5. Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Warehouse, Engineering, Finance, and R&D regarding material requirements and procurement status.

6. Maintain approved supplier/vendor records and coordinate with QA for supplier qualification and documentation.
