Purchase Officer

For Raw Material Purchase:

• Procure APIs, excipients, chemicals, and other pharmaceutical raw materials as per purchase requirements.
• Identify and evaluate suitable vendors and suppliers.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms.
• Issue purchase orders and follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.
• Coordinate with QA, Production, Stores, Planning, and Accounts for procurement-related activities.
• Ensure required quality and regulatory documents are obtained from suppliers.
• Monitor pending purchase orders and resolve supply-related issues.
• Maintain proper purchase records and vendor documentation.

For Packaging Material Purchase:

• Procure primary and secondary packaging materials such as bottles, caps, foils, labels, cartons, shippers, etc.
• Coordinate with Artwork, QA, Production, Stores, and Planning departments for packaging requirements.
• Obtain quotations and negotiate prices and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of packaging materials.
• Follow up on artwork/specification approvals and coordinate with vendors.
• Monitor stock requirements and pending orders to avoid production delays.
• Maintain vendor records, purchase orders, and procurement documentation.
