Position: Purchase Engineer

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. – Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Manage purchase activities for engineering and manufacturing materials.
• Identify and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Collect and compare quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize orders.
• Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure timely material delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers for delivery schedules, quality, and payment terms.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor data, and documentation.
• Coordinate with Stores, Production, Quality, and Accounts teams.
• Monitor material requirements and ensure timely procurement.
• Resolve issues related to price, quality, quantity, and delivery.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Purchase & Procurement processes.
• Vendor development and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/Tally.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
• Basic knowledge of engineering materials and components.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Experience in manufacturing / engineering / solar industry will be an advantage.
• Candidates with experience in vendor development and technical purchasing preferred.
