Role & responsibilities :

• Manage procurement of civil, finishing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, MEP and other construction materials.
• Source and develop reliable vendors/suppliers and maintain strong market relationships.
• Float enquiries, collect quotations and prepare Comparative Statements (CS).
• Negotiate rates, payment terms, quality and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.
• Coordinate with Project, Site, Planning, Stores and Finance teams for timely material availability.
• Monitor orders, deliveries and pending supplies to avoid project delays.
• Conduct rate analysis, market surveys and cost-saving initiatives.
• Resolve vendor/material-related issues and ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Maintain vendor records, purchase documentation and procurement MIS/ERP.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Strong knowledge of construction and real estate procurement.
• Good understanding of BOQ, specifications, material requirements and construction processes.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Good knowledge of construction material suppliers and markets in Delhi/NCR.
• Experience in rate comparison, cost negotiation and commercial evaluation.
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and procurement/ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple project requirements simultaneously.
• Strong analytical, communication and decision-making skills.
