Purchase Manager

Develop and implement purchasing policies and strategies to align with company objectives, focusing on cost savings and efficiency.

Identify, evaluate, and select vendors; negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) Maintain strong supplier relationships

Manage the entire buying cycle, from reviewing specifications and processing orders to ensuring timely delivery and managing inventory.

Analyze expenditures, monitor market trends, and implement cost-saving measures. Recruit, train, and manage purchasing staff, setting goals and conducting appraisals. Liaise with other departments (e.g., accounting, manufacturing, marketing) to understand needs and coordinate activities . Monitor performance, track expenditures, and provide reports to upper management.
