Purchase Manager

Procurement & Vendor Management

Source and procure raw materials as per production requirements and project schedules.
Handle procurement of plywood, MDF, laminates, hardware, pipes, sheet metal, edge bands and other manufacturing materials.
Obtain quotations and negotiate for the best combination of price, quality, payment terms and delivery.
Develop and maintain a reliable vendor database.
Monitor vendor performance based on quality, pricing, delivery timelines and service.
Process Purchase Orders and follow up with vendors for timely delivery.
Coordinate with the Quality Team for incoming material inspection.

DOCUMENTATION & INVENTORY

Maintain purchase orders, invoices, delivery challans, gate passes and vendor records.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, GST regulations and applicable requirements.
Prepare monthly reports covering inventory, consumption, purchases and procurement analysis.
Coordinate with Accounts for vendor payments, invoice verification and reconciliation.
Maintain optimum inventory levels and prevent stock-outs/overstocking.
Identify alternate vendors and materials for cost optimization.

COORDINATION

Coordinate with Production regarding material requirements and project timelines.
Liaise with logistics partners for timely transportation of materials.
Coordinate with Site Teams regarding dispatch schedules and material deliveries.
Work closely with Design & Engineering Teams to understand material specifications.
Coordinate with vendors, production, project, accounts, logistics and site teams.
