Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage raw material procurement process from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors through effective vendor development strategies.
  
• Plan, coordinate, and execute purchase orders for raw materials, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, negotiate prices, terms, and conditions of supply agreements.
  
• Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and optimize storage space utilization.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 12-15 years of experience in purchase management or related field (raw material procurement).
  
• Strong knowledge of purchase planning, purchase management, raw material procurement processes.
  
• Excellent negotiation skills for vendor development and price reduction initiatives.
  
• Ability to analyze data to inform purchasing decisions (e.g., cost savings opportunities).
  
• Proficiency in using ERP systems for tracking inventory levels.
