Purchase Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, and control procurement of construction materials and services
  
• Develop procurement strategies aligned with project schedules and budgets
  
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and subcontractors
  
• Lead price negotiations, rate contracts, and finalization of suppliers
  
• Approve purchase requisitions, comparative statements, and purchase orders
  
• Ensure timely material delivery as per project requirements
  
• Coordinate closely with project, site, stores, and finance teams
  
• Monitor inventory levels and control excess/obsolete stock
  
• Ensure adherence to BOQ, technical specifications, and quality standards
  
• Track market trends, price variations, and mitigate supply risks
  
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audits, and documentation
  
• Mentor and supervise the purchase team and improve process efficiency

• Strong knowledge of construction materials and vendor markets
  
• Excellent negotiation, contract management, and leadership skills
  
• Sound understanding of BOQ, budgeting, and cost control
  
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
  
• Strong analytical, planning, and coordination skills
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tight timelines
