Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage procurement activities and ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and other requirements for smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of raw materials, packaging materials and other materials.
• Develop and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and supply contracts.
• Ensure timely procurement and uninterrupted material availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Production and Stores teams.
• Identify and develop new vendors to improve cost and quality.
• Prepare purchase reports and provide market intelligence.
• Ensure optimum quality, quantity and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with relevant teams for smooth supply chain operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in Purchase/Procurement.
• Experience in Animal Feed, Cattle Feed, Poultry Feed, Dairy, Veterinary, Agriculture or related industries is must.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Good relationship-building and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated and result-oriented.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
