Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing
  
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for raw materials, consumables, and spare parts.
• Ensure procurement aligns with organizational goals and cost-efficiency.
• Vendor Management
  
• Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor vendor performance and compliance with quality standards.
• Procurement Operations
  
• Oversee day-to-day purchasing activities for foundry inputs (iron, steel, etc.).
• Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with stores/warehouse teams.
• Team Leadership
  
• Lead and coordinate a team of purchase executives.
• Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluation.
• Foster collaboration with production, finance, and supply chain departments.
• Cost Control & Reporting
  
• Track procurement budgets and reduce costs through effective negotiation.
• Prepare reports for senior management on purchase activities, supplier performance, and cost savings.
• Compliance & Risk Management
  
• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
