Purchase Executive

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to support healthcare and pharmacy procurement activities. The candidate will assist in purchasing medicines, pharmaceutical products, medical consumables, and healthcare supplies while ensuring product availability, competitive pricing, proper documentation, and compliance with applicable company policies and regulatory requirements.
Candidates with a pharmacy or healthcare background and an interest in pharmaceutical purchasing are preferred. Freshers are welcome to apply.

• Assist in purchasing medicines, pharmaceutical products, medical consumables, and healthcare supplies.
• Coordinate with authorized pharmaceutical distributors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Collect quotations and prepare price comparison statements.
• Assist in preparing purchase orders based on approved requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of medicines and medical supplies.
• Check product names, strengths, dosage forms, pack sizes, quantities, and expiry dates against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Assist in monitoring medicine stock levels and identifying items requiring replenishment.
• Maintain purchase records, supplier details, invoices, and delivery documentation.
• Coordinate with pharmacy, stores, accounts, and healthcare departments.
• Assist in checking batch numbers, manufacturing dates, expiry dates, and product details during goods receipt.
• Help monitor near-expiry stock and coordinate with the pharmacy or inventory team regarding returns and replacements.
• Support the maintenance of appropriate storage and documentation procedures for medicines and healthcare products.
• Ensure procurement activities follow internal approval procedures and applicable pharmaceutical regulations.
• Assist in preparing purchase reports, stock reports, and supplier performance records.

3. Educational Qualifications

• B.Pharm or D.Pharm candidates are preferred.
• Graduates in Commerce, Business Administration, or related fields may also be considered if they have relevant healthcare or pharmacy knowledge.
• Freshers are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical products and pharmacy inventory management is an advantage.

• Familiarity with medicine names, dosage forms, pack sizes, batch numbers, and expiry dates.
