Purchase Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities as per business requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
• Prepare, process, and track purchase orders (POs) to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with internal departments, including Operations, Finance, Warehouse, and Inventory, to understand procurement requirements.
• Obtain and compare vendor quotations to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, quotations, and vendor information.
• Follow up with vendors regarding pending orders, delayed deliveries, and material shortages.
• Verify invoices and coordinate with the Finance Department for payment processing.
• Monitor inventory levels and support timely replenishment of required materials.
• Ensure purchased materials meet the required quality standards and specifications.
• Identify opportunities to optimize procurement costs and improve purchasing efficiency.
• Prepare regular procurement reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
