Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle plant consumables and general purchase requirements.
• Procure engineering items, mechanical and electrical spares, tools, hardware, and maintenance materials.
• Manage machinery, equipment, and plant-related purchase requirements.
• Handle corporate office purchases, including stationery, housekeeping, pantry supplies, and other administrative items.
• Identify vendors, obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate prices.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, stores, administration, and accounts teams.
• Follow up with vendors for pending orders, quality issues, and replacement of materials.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, and procurement MIS.
• Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality and delivery timelines.

Candidate Requirements:

• Graduate / Diploma holder; technical qualification preferred.
• 25 years of experience in purchase and procurement in a manufacturing industry.
• Experience in engineering purchase, plant consumables, MRO items, and general purchase.
• Good negotiation, vendor management, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP / purchase software.
