Purchase Executive

Designation: Executive / Sr. Executive Purchase
Location: Piplod, Surat
Experience: 2–5 Years in Purchase / Procurement

Job Description:

• Handle procurement of construction materials, including sanitary products, plumbing materials, electrical items, civil materials, and furniture.
• Manage procurement of warehouse material handling equipment such as trolleys, VNA systems, and other material handling solutions.
• Procure material storage equipment, including racking systems and other warehouse storage solutions.
• Handle purchasing requirements for infrastructure and construction projects as per business requirements.
• Manage the complete procurement process, including Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), vendor onboarding, negotiation, quotation comparison, and order follow-ups.
• Identify and develop new vendors, evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate pricing and payment terms, and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Coordinate with internal departments, project teams, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Understand product specifications, quality standards, technical requirements, and commercial terms.
• Maintain proper procurement documentation, purchase records, and vendor databases.
• Be flexible and ready to handle procurement activities and other tasks as per business requirements and assignments.

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in purchase / procurement, preferably in any of the above-mentioned categories.
• Good understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, price negotiation, quotation comparison, PR, and PO.
• Strong communication, negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Good product understanding with a willingness to learn about new products, technical specifications, and market trends.
• Proactive, responsible, and adaptable to changing business requirements and assigned tasks.

Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or any relevant technical qualification.
