Purchase Executive

Job Overview

• Job Title: Purchase Executive (Electronics & EMS)
• Department: Procurement & Supply Chain Management
• Experience Required: 2 to 4 years

• Role Summary: Responsible for the daily execution of purchase orders, material tracking, and coordinator-level supplier management to ensure uninterrupted production lines for electronic assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Processing: Create, release, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) using ERP systems based on Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) data.
• Material Tracking & Expediting: Monitor open orders daily, follow up with distributors, and expedite delayed shipments to avoid factory shortages.
• RFQ Support: Distribute Request for Quotations (RFQs) to approved component vendors and compile pricing data into comparison sheets.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Partner with Warehouse and Quality assurance teams to resolve short-shipments, defective components (RMA processing), or billing errors.
• Data Maintenance: Ensure accurate system data entry for part numbers, standard lead times, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and vendor details.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Domain Knowledge: Foundational understanding of electronic components (Active, Passive, Connectors, PCBAs) and manufacturer part numbers (MPNs).
• Software Skills: Hands-on experience working in an ERP purchase module (such as SAP MM, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and intermediate MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Communication: Clear verbal and written skills to professionally follow up with local and international suppliers.
• Core Strengths: Sharp attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a process-oriented mindset.
