Purchase Executive

Major Responsibilities:

Procurement Operations:

• Responsible for procurement of raw materials, flanges, electronics, consumables, machining components, and outsourced materials.
• Release daily Purchase Orders (POs), track and monitor delivery schedules, and ensure on-time delivery (OTD) above 95%.
• Coordinate with planning and production teams to address material shortages and related issues.

Vendor Management:

• Send Requests for Quotation (RFQs), obtain quotations, and prepare comparative statements for approval.
• Track supplier performance and follow up for timely material delivery and acceptance.
• Maintain supplier relationships and ensure smooth communication and conflict resolution.

Technical Evaluation:

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Ensure knowledge of costing related to machining, raw material, and electronic components.
• Conduct ABC analysis and forecast demand for critical items.

Inventory and Shortage Management:

• Ensure timely closure of daily production shortages and consumable stock issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock availability as per production plans.

Process and Compliance:

• Be conversant with process flow charts, operation sequences, and quality norms.
• Ensure adherence to internal quality and procurement procedures.

System Handling and Reporting:

• Work with SAP and Microsoft Excel for purchase tracking and reporting.
• Maintain regular MIS reports and dashboards for internal review.
