Purchase Executive

We are looking for a Purchase Executive with experience in Hotel Construction, Hospitality, or Interior Projects. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, procurement, vendor management, price negotiation, and timely delivery of materials required for hotel rooms, interiors, furniture, and hotel operations.

Role & responsibilities :

• Manage end-to-end procurement of hotel room furniture, interiors and operating supplies.
• Procure beds, mattresses, headboards, wardrobes, bedside tables, chairs, sofas, tables and other hotel furniture.
• Handle procurement of bedsheets, pillow covers, blankets, duvets, towels, bath mats, napkins, table linen and curtains.
• Source carpets, rugs, wallpapers, blinds, dcor items, mirrors and other interior materials.
• Procure bathroom accessories, room accessories and guest-room supplies.
• Handle FF&E and OS&E procurement for hotel projects.
• Source housekeeping, guest-room and restaurant/banquet supplies as required.
• Identify and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements and negotiate prices and commercial terms.
• Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with Project, Interior, Stores, Accounts and Operations teams.
• Monitor material quality, quantity, specifications and delivery schedules.
• Resolve vendor issues related to quality, shortage, damage, replacement and delayed deliveries.
• Maintain vendor database, quotations, POs, invoices and purchase records.
• Prepare purchase MIS and procurement status reports.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Strong vendor sourcing and negotiation skills.
• Good knowledge of hotel furniture, linen, interiors and guest-room materials.
• Knowledge of FF&E / OS&E procurement will be an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Purchase software.
