Purchase Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Handle procurement of raw materials, components, consumables, and other production-related items.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
• Conduct vendor negotiations for pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per organizational requirements.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, vendor databases, and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, and Accounts Departments to ensure smooth procurement and inventory management.
• Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases to avoid stock shortages and excess inventory.
• Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery and resolve supply-related issues.
