About this role
Communicating regularly with factory head and other departments to assess requirements.
Identify and evaluate procurement needs based on production or departmental requirements.
Source and evaluate suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery timelines.
Request and compare quotations, negotiate prices and payment terms with vendors.
Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) as per company policies.

Follow up with vendors for on-time delivery and resolve any delivery issues or delays.
Coordinate with stores and quality departments for material inspection and acceptance.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor details in ERP/software.

Analyze market trends and maintain awareness of new products or services.
Support audits by maintaining purchase records and ensuring traceability.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers for long-term collaboration. (Vendor Management)
