Purchase Executive / Strategic Purchaser

Role & responsibilities

• Identify and develop strategic suppliers to strengthen supply continuity and reduce sourcing risk.
• Drive new and alternate item development to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of development activities.
• Implement supplier diversification and cost optimization strategies aligned with business goals.
• Continuously enhance procurement processes and SCM effectiveness through market and risk analysis.
• To identify the need for new vendor development in line with business requirements.
• To identify and develop new items as well as alternate items with a focus on cost, quality, and delivery, thereby strengthening procurement effectiveness.
• To coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of development activities within the stipulated timeframe.
• To explore and implement process and capability enhancement opportunities in Supply Chain Management from a procurement perspective.
