Purchase Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage purchase operations for electrical and mechanical components, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  
• Develop strong relationships with vendors through effective communication, negotiation, and vendor development strategies.
  
• Plan and execute purchasing activities to meet business requirements, including inventory control and price negotiations.
  
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, optimization, and improvement in procurement processes.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to product availability, pricing, and logistics.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with a machine manufacturer or similar domain.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech / B.E.).
• Strong understanding of Purchase Planning, Price Negotiation, Cost Reduction, Cost Optimization, Inventory Control skills.
• Willingness to travel to find new vendors offering best prices and quality as per our specifications
