Purchase Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for mechanical, electrical, fabrication, sheet metal, machining, and vendor development.
  
• Source materials from vendors to meet project requirements.
  
• Develop strong relationships with suppliers through effective communication and negotiation skills.
  
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products by monitoring production schedules and inventory levels.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to procurement processes.

• Study BOMs, drawings and technical specifications before procurement.

• Understanding our ERP system and procure items through it.

• Maintain purchase records, vendor database, PO status and procurement MIS

• Purchase products such as -

Motor gearbox, bearings and couplings

PLC, HMI, VFD, Servo motors and drive

Sensors and Electrical panel related components

Machines and Fabricated components as per drawings
